None of the cartoons in the Popeye block were censored today. Betty Boop's Rise to Fame aired as the transfer from the Olive Blu-rays.

Caballero Droopy and Deputy Droopy (during one of those 'Quick Clips' segments) aired as HD transfers today with the same technical issues that came with most of the recent MGM cartoon restorations (flat colors, DVNR, reused Turner audio). Little 'Tinker aired as the Turner print with the shot of the black lady rabbit edited out.

None of the Looney Tunes were censored today.

Ballot Box Bunny aired with an HD upgrade

Also this is the first time they've aired a Betty Boop cartoon on a weekday morning

The new transfer on "The Last Hungry Cat" might just be the fact it's not currently in HD. I've sworn I've seen a clip of What's my Lion restored on an opening bumper to one of the episodes, which I need to explore soon

Anything good today (18th)? Due to power issues (in Texas of course) this is the one day my DVR really missed it's appointment with Toon In With Me.

Nothing to report about the Popeye block other than freakishly tall Betty Boop haunts my nightmares.

Barney's Hungry Cousin aired in HD today and looked amazing, though they're still skipping out on rescanning the audio track (going to keep hammering this point in).

The Last Hungry Cat aired in what I think may be an HD upgrade. I could be wrong.

Again, I'm trying to recall by memory, but didn't the print of "So Does an Automobile" include DVNR? I'd assume it's from the Republic tapes/ laser discs.

"Elmer's Pet Rabbit" aired and it's the same as the HBO Max version, made-up titles and all.

Quick note: MeTV is listing War and Pieces for March 13th on the weekend block for Bugs Bunny and Friends. That'll make EVERY Jones Roadrunner restored, a pretty big deal if you ask me

On a sidenote "Run, Run, Sweet Road Runner" is the only Golden Age Road Runner short to have not aired on American TV in several years, presumably due to the ending gag involving that Indian dance, but I don't think that's stop it from airing on MeTV, considering they've aired shorts with similar gags.

From the Larriva Eleven, so far, they've aired "Just Plain Beep," "Highway Runnery," "Chaser on the Rocks," "Out and Out Rout," "The Solid Tin Coyote," and "Clippety Clobbered", and next weekend, "Shot and Bothered" will be airing. That leaves just the aforementioned "Run, Run, Sweet Road Runner," "Tired and Feathered," "Boulder Wham!" and "Hairied and Hurried."

MeTV must have a thing for One Froggy Evening cause this is the third time they've aired it.

In other news, Billy Boy aired in HD with a really shoddy transfer in terms of colors, audio, and occasional DVNR. Also, this one looked a bit more shaky than some of the other new transfers.

There seems to be an unannounced schedule change for tomorrow. I'm not sure which cartoon they're swapping out (if I had to guess it's either When I Yoo Hoo or The Impractical joker), but in the promo for the next episode they showed a clip of The Iceman Ducketh, aka the greatest cartoon ever made.

The cartoon they swapped out in yesterday's block was The Impractical Joker. Also they were kind enough to call When I Yoo Hoo a Friz Freleng "masterpiece."

In today's block, Cellbound aired as a new HD transfer with the usual problems of flat colors, reused Turner audio, and DVNR.

Happy birthday, Tex.

Funny thing about today's end credits is that there were several spaces they forgot to fill in with names.

I have nothing important to contribute to this thread. I just wanted to point out how I'm loving this dedication to post screenshots for every episode. You guys still rock and it's always exciting to lurk over here and catch up on what I miss in each broadcast!
