Muscle Tussle (1953), an underrated Daffy Duck cartoon directed by McKimson
Snow Place Like Home (1949), has very little to do with the summer hear, but important in mentioning since this short is pretty good
Salt Water Tabby (1947) An terrific Tom and Jerry cartoon that perfectly captures the summer vibe at the beach, made even better with the trademark violence and slapstick that Tom and Jerry are behemothly known for.
