Reviews and Comments

From Ryan :

In this short, Bootle Beetle tells his grandson about how he barely made it out of Donald Duck's yard alive. This short was okay, but not one of my favorites. I do enjoy the background art of this short, as well as the animation, quite a bit.

From Isidro :

Average. This is not a Donald Duck short; it's a Bootle Beetle short starring Donald for about 2 and a half minutes. In those years the Duck had little screen time compared to the "new rodent of the week" that appeared on "his" shorts. With notable exceptions, of course.

From Baruch Weiss :

As mentioned in the comment up above. Donald stars in this cartoon for two and a half minutes. The Bootle beetle gets most of the attention. I enjoy it, but it is not one of my favorites. However, it teaches a good lesson to be content with what one has.
