Reviews and Comments

From Jerry Edwards :

One of the four shorts that comprise the short film Saludos Amigos. Donald Duck stars as a "typical" North American tourist at Lake Titicaca in the Andes of Peru. He has misadventures with a papyrus boat and on a shaky bridge high up in the mountains on a stubborn llama.

This short has several fun gags, but is not among my favorites.

From Ryan :

This is one of those shorts that I don't see very often. I last saw it on "Donald's Quack Attack" on Toon Disney. I enjoy the scene where Donald visits the natives of Peru. He even gets his own panflute. The scene with Donald and the llama somewhat leaves me in suspense when they are hanging on for dear life on an unsturdy rope bridge.

From Baruch Weiss :

This was a great short, It's funny to see "The Duck" (as Jack Hannah refered to him) travel and get in all sorts of troubles.
