Cut Scenes
- For the 1-hour ABC broadcast pairing with It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (with said special airing uncut), the following is cut; The first 3 minutes are cut (except for the opening titles albeit with different music) featuring Sally and her dilemma with the school lockers and refusing to go to school the next morning. It is when Snoopy wakes up to make his breakfast is where the special begins in the ABC broadcast. Then, the scenes where Charlie Brown tries to help Sally with her dilemma and then telling him her locker combination, Sally realizing what the bus stop sign means, and Sally bringing Charlie Brown as her Show-and-Tell presentation. Later on, the radio talk show with Linus and Lucy is shortened and lastly, the last shot where Sally's locker opens after she kicks it is removed. In addition, the special is time-compressed (up until the last act) and several scenes have music instated where there wasn't originally music before.
Trivia
- According to the original CBS newspaper ad for the cartoon, this special was sponsored by the Coca-Cola Company and Dolly Madison Cakes.
