Tim Burton's Next Project

Disney has announced that Tim Burton's next project will be a live action version of the 1935 short "The Band Concert." Burton states that he's trying to find deeper meaning in his movie, with Donald Duck as a down on his luck flute player struggling against the oppressive strains of the modern "accepted" orchestra.

Donald Duck will be played by Johnny Depp.

     Yeah Eutychus, I heard that too, additional castings have since been announced..  To give suitable angst Mickey will be played by Nicholas Cage, and in the epitome of typecasting the part of Goofy went to Alec Baldwin...  :flip:

Funny, I heard he was doing Little Women with not just Depp, but Helena Bonham Carter as well.
