The ending to this cartoon hasn't been seen since it was released in theaters. This was all due to the fact that the Paramount logo was involved with the ending gag, and AAP removed the Paramount logo when they purchased the Popeye cartoons to be shown on television. But, an original theatrical release print has shown up, and recently been made available on Youtube. There is no saying how long it will be here, so check it out now before it gets pulled.

BUMMER! I actually fell for this until the YouTube video loaded. I really need to remember that it's April Fool's Day. :O

I really hope that an original print of this cartoon is found in the future. I have watched the ending on the restored DVD version (which appears to be from the original negative), which shows the beautiful theatre screen and then a (fake) fade-out to the (poor) end title recreation of the anchor end title plus the Paramount logo. It's sad that the original end title is lost.

Regards,

Zachary.

Besides the title is wrong. Me Musical Nephews is the title to original B&W short. The correct title color short/remake is Riot in Rythm.

Everyone's a comedian on April Fool's Day. And, generally, not a good one.

On a more serious note, a few years ago an original 35mm print of "Riot in Rhythm" was sold on ebay.

In reference to my original (April Fool's) post, the original "Me Musical Nephews" most likely had the same ending gag, which could not be preserved on the DVD.

I should've known "Rick Rolled" would make an apperance in one of these April Fools threads.
