!!! The IAD Forums Will Be Moving !!!

As noted earlier, because of technical problems with the current software, the IAD Forums will be moving to a new home, probably the first week in January.

If you haven't registered there yet, it's best that you do so as soon as possible so there is no confusion once we flip the switch. The conversions are almost done. I just have some small technical issues to deal with and, of course, waiting for the Holidays to be over so I don't disrupt any party threads. And to make sure I have the time to watch it for the first few weeks.

Sweet! Except for the emoticons the coding is the same, so all you have to do (as I'm sure you've figured out by now) is to hit "modify post" and just do a copy and paste over to the new board.

I went ahead and moved in.  I am going to announce the retirement of my "King Delbert" name.  It's outdated.  It goes back to my sophomore year in Jazz Ensemble when everyone called me that.  Nobody calls me that anymore.  I've been meaning to get ride of that name for a long time.   Now's the best time to do so.  From now on you'll see my REAL name, Justin Delbert, and when speaking to me, simply refer to me as Justin or even better Delbert. 

Now will you move the party threads?  I kind of wanted to save what I've written this past Thanksgiving.

You can give it a try. Just remember that the emoticons are coded differently, so they may be a bit screwy. (They use brackets instead of colons.) Also, moving them over is one of the things I haven't gotten around to doing yet.

Well, isn't that where we're all moving???  I'd just figure just go ahead and change it there rather than here where we are finishing up this month.  I think about one more month of using King Delbert will be good and fair enough.  After that, I think the name Delbert will stick out more and I'm kind of tired of using the King name anymore. 
Oh and another thing, the King name was also because I wasn't on social media when I joined GAC.  My whole name is now out there nowadays on Facebook and Twitter, so why not?
