It's already past "down the line". It's been over a month since "it's on the way".

I apologize for taking so long on so many of these ones... the extra 'bonus discs' have not gone out yet, and I have a flood of requests for this and that, mistakes, replacements, etc to deal with- plus, the new titles are doing better than I ever expected, so the flood of orders has be behind as well. The growing pains are continuous, and I do hope to have full time help in these areas sometime this year- I find I'm up around the clock as things are just trying to keep the top priorities in progress.

I hope to be finally 'caught up' with all of those late this week- likely sending most of the email and bonus discs first. It's been very busy here, finishing the materials for the Turner Broadcast, a new school year starting and organizing the new titles and restoration crew. I thank everyone for their patience and will do my best to be caught up.

Thanks again everyone.

It has been said here many times that Thunderbean truly is a one man operation and a gift to all fans of classic animation. Steve will get around to filling whatever orders you have . I think most if not all of us have had issues where things were not sent in a timely fashion or not at all but ultimately Steve gets it done. Harassing him here is inappropriate and may result in a dogpile. He will see your comments and get to it when he can...he always does.

I don't think it's harassing on this forum . Thunderbean kinda advertises here first about his products(special discs only for members, fundraisers). If there's no response  back from private e-mails or p. messages from Thunderbean aka Steve, then what do you suggest the next step should be? Just wait? I'm still waiting.  A

In my opinion t is harassing if people come here and make accusations. Steve does see the email and may choose not to respond when he is overburdened with work. I have experienced that first hand but he always comes through. The proper way to handle it is indeed to continue private emails to Steve...not to attempt to publicly shame him or threaten to sic one's mother on him as some have done in the past.

Well, it is, a bit. The problem that I was trying to stem was people posting "Did you get my email?" "Did you see my PM?" That was getting a bit out of hand. he's more likely to see your email or PM than he would a random post on a message board. I'm sure he doesn't have time to go through each thread every day looking for messages to him

Thanks Steve - Any timeframe is worth the wait for your products.

All the stuff.

Thanks folks for coming to my defense.

In theory, all of the 'extra' and 'other' DVDs and blu-rays will be out the door in the coming few days. On Friday I went through my email box from May forward, checking on each request and looking through followup emails to see what made it to who, and often writing to make sure someone got what they asked for when I had missed this or that. I hope to have more permanent help doing these kind of things in the near future as Thunderbean expands. This was a huge relief. If there's something you didn't get, wait about a week and a half (maybe two for things out of the country) then write.

It would be better to get everything to everyone faster; I'll do my best going forward. It has been overwhelming the last year or so with honestly taking on more than I've been able to handle....even falling behind in the Amazon orders at times,  but I'm hoping to get much better at making sure everything gets out in a much more timely way.

If I don't respond to an email, please try again- sometimes people have sent them to just steve@thunderbean.com, NOT my email (it's steves) and that won't get to me. I respond as soon as able, though sometimes it takes me some days- and I do get lots and lots of repeat emails from some people wanting this or that- but usually not an order. A typical day in my email is 400 messages or so- a sign of success?   I get lots of requests to put out the censored 11 or other things I can't do, many from teenage fans who may have just discovered Thunderbean,  but I guess that is just a big part of how the internet works. Sometimes 'real' emails get a little lost in the shuffle between all those requests for this or that.

I teach full time in addition to Thunderbean- my real job- sometimes the job has to take precedence over the little company too!

I think you've done quite well already, to be honest! :)

In all seriousness, is there anything practical we as a community can do to help? If Thunderbean really has outgrown itself as you described, perhaps we can share the burden and lighten your load a little. I'm afraid I can't really think how, but if there is anything, just say...

One suggestion: given the deluge of e-mails you're getting, have you thought about setting up a dedicated address for order enquiries that you only give out to people when they actually buy something? (e.g. orders@ or sales@ or something.) You can then give paying customers priority over the other 400 per day you receive. (Seriously, 400 per day?)

Keep up the great work!

Finally got mine yesterday.  I was having trouble playing it since I use Power DVD player on my computer.  I tried many programs but they all gave errors due to the AACS protection on the blu ray. I finally got a program to work.  Some of the cartoons don't look that different then DVD standard definition.  A few of them look really good like Mutt and Jeff, Tom and Jerry and the raggedy anne cartoon looks great.  Steve, if your reading this, I want to say thank you, and please think about releasing a Tom and Jerry(not the cat and mouse) as a complete set in blu- ray.

Received my copy and went straight to watching "To Spring" and it was gorgeous.  Also watched the fun little Tea Pot town short.  I like it, a little disjointed (and apparently incomplete) but overall an interesting little entry.  Also watched Spring Song (in Brewster Color, quite a trip) and Eshbaugh's vibrant Wizard of Oz.  Will go back to the beginning and watch more of the B&W "Nightmares" soon.  I also love the little liner notes booklet.  Thunderbean has always put forth a quality effort, but with these new combo blu-ray sets the quality of presentation just gets better and better.  And HD is clearly the way to go at this point, totally worth it.
