Viz Media Picks Up Sailor Moon (Uncut Classic Dub + Stars Dub + Crystal)

The main jist of it is that Viz Media is redubbing the entirety of the original Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon Stars is getting a dub for the first time, and the new Sailor Moon Crystal series will be simulcasted.

All I can say is: It's about time!

What I like to know is the english voice cast for this new dub.  Is Laura Bailey (the animated Black Widow) doing one of the voices?  I recently found out that she is a pro of dubbing anime (including some I've seen).

The new cast for the new dub hasn't been released yet (I heard the date July 5th but I can't say if it's accurate or not).

Also, the original series subbed will be available on Hulu starting on Monday on the Neon Alley channel.

I heard about this yesterday and I was surprised. We all can't wait to see the new dub by Viz Media. It will be a whole lot better than DIC Entertainment's dub from the 90's most definitely, since it was edited drastically.

She is gonna have a reappearance in the new Sailor Moon anime coming out this year, I hate to say. Except she is older (at right).

It wouldn't be right to leave out Chibi-Usa.  Sailor Moon is about friendship, love and accepting others, even so-called brats.  Admittedly, keeping her in the past after Sailor Moon R resolved itself is a bit weird...but then again, so are magical girls mentored by talking cats.  Sailor Moon is all sorts of surreal...

But I just wanted Usagi and Darrien's Japanese name to be in a relationship without chibi-brat getting in the way. I mean, they never get to do anything together besides fight evil and Usagi spends most of her time with her friends anyway.

Looks like they got the Japanese voice of Usagi/Sailor Moon back. Not really liking the designs compared to the originals, but it looks like a good show nevertheless.
