Almost 25 years later, during the Vietnam War, Daffy escaping the draft would probaly have fit in more, but here he has more different persoanlity. That little man is a radio comedy caricature [the "Gildersleeve" druggist] and this features the "resilience/one step ahead" bit with the man from the draft board. Daffy says when i the fiery place "I'm in-I must be in"[the he- with two hockey-sticks] gasps at the end when all of a sudden who should ALSO show up [since Daffy tied him to rocket him away] in [gasp] but you know who.
