In the 1940's, after World WAr II, a local theater manager advertises a big cartoon show that will feature Warner Brothers and Disney Technicolor cartoons. On the day of the show, a huge crowd of children arrives at the theater, anticipating the grand program. The show starts, and to their discouragement a handful of Columbia Screen Gems "Phantasies" and "Color Rhapsodies" are shown. After ten of these cartoons are shown the theater manager comes out on stage and says 'April Fools'....

The Theater ended up going out of business a few months later.
