I like that, but we have most of them out on other sets already!

I'd love to get Hell Bent out in a beautiful print. The national archives has a 35mm on it....

I don't know INSIDE MAGOO at all. Flat Hatting and pump trouble would be the only other ones. I know where 16mm prints are on both.  I really do like the idea of a UPA treasures set though! I was saving some of the things that are now released for something like that originally....

Wish I could get the beautiful 35mm of Brotherhood of Man that exists...

I wonder if there are production records of all the commercials UPA made. That may be a 'real' collection, if there's a way to gather a lot of them...

I wouldn't mind seeing Thunderbean take a crack at the unreleased Buddy and Bosko cartoons.

I would love an exclusive Fleischer disc, if that's possible. It would be great to have great copies of rare Talkartoons like Hot Dog, The Male Man and The Herring Murder Case. It would even be great to transfer Tom's print of Ace of Spades (I've been dying to see that).

Others from the early 30s could include early Betty Boops that hadn't been acquired by Olive Films, for instance, Barnacle Bill, Mysterious Mose, and Silly Scandals. Decent copies of early Screen Songs such as Mariutch, Any Little Girl That’s A Nice Little Girl and I Ain’t Got Nobody would be great, too. It would be nice to have a decent copy of Gabby's King for a Day as well.

On a last note, I'd love a nice version of The Raven if that happens to be around. It'd be great to see one with less red in the print.

I feel like we are kind of in the "Golden Age of Animation" doldrums right now.  Does Steve have any news or insights on the "Snafu" collection, or progress to report on bringing "Mr. Bug Goes to Town" on Blu-ray?  Just wondering.....

My Suggestions:
-The Strangest Cartoons Ever Made Vol.2
-A DVD/Blu-Ray Set of Halloween, Thanksgiving and/or Christmas themed cartoons
-Thunderbean's version of Jerry Beck's WORST Catoons Ever Made DVD
-Noveltoons Original Classics Vol.2 + Screen Songs
-Gene Deitch Shorts (license)
I like Cartoons and that's it

I really love the suggestions in more recent times here!

The sets currently on the burners are:
-Flip the Frog
-Licensed set I can't talk about yet
-Lou Bunin Blu-ray (with Alice and shorts)
-two others!

I'd absolutely love to have an all Talkartoons set- wouldn't that be great? Paramount Cartoons asks me weekly about the possibility of a Screen Songs set- he can elaborate about that! He wants the stuff Classic Media owns on it as well- and thats.... well, HARDER.

Haven't though about a strangest cartoons volume 2. I don't sell Volume 1 any more- ran out of them! Cultoons and those sets have never been top sellers, but I still like doing things like that for sure. I've thought about doing a Fables on Blu-ray (I don't sell either Volume of the Aesop's Fables right now) but would want ALL the best material I could find. I've managed to find a lot of really nice material on Van Beuren cartoons more recently, and have been transferring some.

Do you think a Christmas set would sell ok? I have thought of doing a BDR version of that something like that.

I don't want to put a dampener on anything you may already be working on, but I have to confess that wouldn't really be high on my shopping list. On the other hand, it's one of few golden age sets that would actually remain perpetually "current", and I imagine an annual sales peak around this time of year would make very good business sense.

THANKS FOR MENTIONING MY REQUEST FOR A SCREEN SONGS SET STEVE!  ;D

Anyways, yeah, I want a Screen Songs set and I think it would sell more due to the countless commercials that use this sing-along technique, people should know where that idea came from! The Ko-Ko's Song Cartunes, Fleischer Screen Songs, Screen Songs as Noveltoons, Famous Screen Songs, yeah. There are plenty of baby boomers who would buy this set.

And we'll finally get to see good-color copies of the Famous ones!

Also, with the Christmas set, it would be cool to see intergrated commercials from various 60s Christmas specials. I also want to see restored prints of the Paramount Christmas cartoons.

You may know this already, but I have something that would be a nice addition to your fundraisers.......

It could since there's no definitive release of Santa and The Three Bears on the Market, that and there are plenty of christmas cartoons that we would to have in our DVD Library in the set [if made] like the "Twelve Days of Christmas" cartoon that was in the titular VHS tape released by DEC for example

If a Christmas set is possible, Maybe perhaps add both versions of the classic [hopefully remastered as possible] as the main attraction along with a plethora of christmas animation either forgotten or  very obscure from the pool of PD VHS tapes
