It's been announced that a new Daffy Duck and Porky Pig feature film is set for release in 2015.
The film, which will be directed by Larry Doyle and written and produced by John Krisfaluci, will involve Daffy and Porky as they go on a road trip to make a documentary about America. However, a rival studio, led by the evil Danny the Dancing Fish, is out to stop them from filming their documentary.
This film will be similar to the classic Looney Tunes compilation movies, only they won't use classic cartoons. Instead, there'll be several barely-related 4-7-minute sequences reminiscent of the classic WB shorts. Such scenes will include Daffy and Porky going to a western town and battling Yosimite Sam and Nasty Canasta, Sylvester chasing Tweety at an animal shelter that Daffy and Porky report at, Daffy stumbling upon Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd in the woods during hunting season, and Charlie Dog pestering Porky into adopting him while at the animal shelter.
Voices will include Joe Alasky, Bob Bergan, Tommy Wiseau, John K., and June Foray.
Oh, and APRIL FOOLS!
