Hello and welcome to today's CDOTW. Today, the 1965 classic, A Charlie Brown Christmas, is the CDOTW. This special is yet another classic watched by the family every year. I love and cherish the characters like many of you do too. The animation may be crude, but it's still one great special. Another one that never gets old as time goes on.

We'll see you next week with more Christmas CDOTWs, next week, it's Hector's Hectic Life. Enjoy and Discuss! :D

This is such a CLASSIC!  THE reason Peanuts animation existed all these years.  This could have possibly been a flop, and CBS wanted to cancel it after one airing.  Today, many of these TV channels (NBC, CN, Nick) say that something's gonna be great, but it is quite the opposite.  Don't these damn channels know what is good and what isn't?

I also want to point out, unfortunantly, that starting at schools, there is a war against A Charlie Brown Christmas.  One school cancelled a field trip to watch it because an atheist got pissed off or something, and a play production has been shot down at an elementary school.  It's for almost the same stupid reason.  If you don't like Linus quoting from the Bible, change the channel or fast forward, but leave this special alone; I don't want this to end up like Song of the South.  Besides, I do watch Rugrats Passover and Lamb Chop's Passover; I don't believe what they do, but I don't let that stop me from watching (atheism maybe). LEAVE THIS SPECIAL ALONE!

Not forget about the score from Vince Guaraldi, which "Christmas Time is Here" is among my favorite Christmas songs and enjoyed the rendition of "Hark the Herald Angels Sing".

I so agree with all of this. If you don't like something, don't watch it. No one's forcing you to.

A Charlie Brown Christmas is one of the best Peanuts specials. At least one of the top ten. I at least like it better than It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (which I find a little overrated. Then again, I like Christmas a lot more than Halloween).

All of the music is good. I like the skating scene, the "throwing snowballs at cans" scene, and the dancing scenes.
