TTTP In Exile / Taking a Break
« on: March 18, 2014, 10:20:51 am »
I'm going to be taking a break from the Internet Animation Database for a bit.
I confess to being a little burned out with the whole project at this point and I need to sit back and regroup while I sort out if I even want to continue working on this project. Submissions have been slow and interest by others beyond a very small band of contributors has been almost non-existent. It might just be the time of year and I may just be in a late-winter slump.

But, by all means, if you still believe in the project continue on updating. I'll still be checking updates on a daily basis and I will be uploading what screenshots I have left in my queue until it's empty. I don't know how long I'll be sitting back; perhaps just long enough for me to get over my funk. We shall see.
Thank you again for your work and hopefully I'll be able to contribute more in the near future.

Before I post info on the main site I have two questions:

1. I find two voice artists listed for Alice Crumden for the three HoneyMousers cartoons: June Foray and Julie Bennett. Who did which cartoon?

2. I also have both Mel Blanc and Stan Freberg listed as doing the voice of Bertie in the 7 Hubie and Bertie cartoons. Once again, who did which cartoon?

Thanks for your help!

TTTP In Exile / New Feature on the IAD
« on: February 27, 2014, 03:25:14 pm »
Since I have an obsession for completeness, we've started listing any video (primarily DVDs and BluRay Discs) that a cartoon has appeared on. Consequently, there are some listings that may not reflect the highest possible quality.

Therefore, I have started a "Comments" section with each video. Logged in users can now submit their opinions on any video - good, bad or indifferent. (For instance, I've noted on the new "Bugs Bunny and Friends" DVD, "Baseball Bugs" is incorrectly featured on the packaging as "Basketball Bugs.") Please feel free to post any other opinions, reviews, or comments for the videos we have listed.

Thunderbean Animation Releases and Offers / Cool it!
« on: January 14, 2014, 05:48:00 am »
Okay, let's cool it with the borderline harassing threads ... where's my video ... where is Steve ... why hasn't he answered my PMs ... Steve doesn't love me anymore ...etc, etc, etc.

Steve is a busy guy and does have a life apart from Thunderbean. He's always worked hard to get his stuff out and the results are never less than phenomenal. Trust him enough that when he has news, he'll post it but right now let's cut him a little slack and let him do his work.

For all you do, this Buddy's for you!
