here's a topic I'd like to share just for fun.........

what if they would have Direct to DVD/Blu-Ray films featuring H-B characters that aren't from the Tom and Jerry/MGM/Tex Avery or Scooby-Doo universes, but instead with Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, and several others around before and after The Flintstones came around  ?

would you like to see them make any Direct-to-DVD films starring Hanna-Barbera characters that are not featuring Scooby-Doo and/or Tom & Jerry, because WHV releases a film with either of those just about every year....  ???

General Discussion / how can we make Nickelodeon better ?
« on: June 27, 2014, 03:00:31 pm »
Nickelodeon has been turning a rubbish and
I don't want it to become any more worse for the next 5 to 8 years

can we make it better for both Kids and Adults ?   ???

here's how I would do it:
-make a new variety of programming blocks (similar to SNICK or Nick in the Afternoon)
-make a 24 hour channel featuring 80's and 90's programs similar to Boomerang and The Hub (big thing I want to happen)
-greenlit unique animated shows that could appeal to both Kids and Adults (Bad Seeds looks like a step in the right direction)
-tone down the amount of SpongeBob showings (unlikely to happen, but needs to be done  >:()
-have certain animated shows have more crossovers with other animated shows

do you have any suggestions ?

General Discussion / is The Fairly OddParents still fun to watch ?
« on: June 16, 2014, 05:10:47 pm »
I'm wondering for you people out there using this form  :-\

do any of you still like to watch The Fairly OddParents even though after certain events with.....

-the aftermath episodes Baby Poof's First Appearance
-the debut of Sparky the Magical Talking Dog
-Characters being really loud
-Gags being repeated more than once just to make it funny
-Cosmo's voice being really annoying
-Those Live Action Made-For-TV movies with Drake Bell

I kind of stopped watching it after many other episodes from season 7 went along and didn't get the chance to watch them,
also around that time I was more interested in show's creator Butch Hartman's other work of cartoon art known as T.U.F.F. Puppy (which I think barely got any attention after the Halloween episode from Season 2  >:()

so do any of you still watch the show even after around Season 6 ?

the website for Golden Age Cartoons hasn't been updated since, sometime last year

are there going to be any updates for the GAC website anytime soon ?

-Eek the Cat
-The Wild West COW-Boys of Moo Mesa
-Rankin Bass Tales of the Wizard of Oz
-Rankin Bass Kid Power

I have a thought about what if they revived Mighty Mouse for a cable network :mighty:

it could be similar to the Bakshi version and they would have Mighty Mouse having newer adventures, not to mention new bad guys to battle, plus they could also bring back a few of the characters created for the 80's version like Scrappy Mouse, Petey Pate, The Cow and perhaps Bat-Bat.

plus a few other Terry Toons characters like Gandy Goose and Sourpuss and Deputy Dawg (who also appeared in the 80's series) could possibly have their own shorts on the show   :gandy:

could that be an interesting thought  ?

2. Make a DVD Documentary about the many Hits and Misses of Saturday Morning Programming

3.Subtitled DVD sets of Anime cartoons by Tatsunoko Productions that never came to the US

General Discussion / C.H. Greenblatt's Bad Seeds
« on: June 12, 2014, 08:31:47 pm »
are there any of you folks out there (like me), that are a bit concerned if Nickelodeon's upcoming animated show from the creator of Cartoon Network's Chowder, C.H. Greenblatt with his new animated series Bad Seeds could save the network from getting any worser than today's animated programming (?
