The BONGGG!!!!! head-on collision is used in those cartoons (first used in 1964, it sounds like a loud church bell--The Simpsons has used this oe..)
From their original parent Columbia ("Bell, Bell, & Candle",1958), the "Bewitched" predecessor, "witch's-cauldron" bubbling in "cauldron" scenes and silding electric-guitar followed by sped up electric piano then one of at least three effects-originally, in BBaC, a up-swoop sound, used for all of those street gas lamp scenes (before electric street lamp poles appeared), replaced by Columbia's then-other and earlier independent client UPA in 1959's "Mr.Magoo's 1001 Arabian Nights" (the 1994 Scooby-Doo version being a FAR cry from THIS) with a held telephone ring which is the standard finish on this, but also an explosion has been used as well. Think, in Hanna-Barbera's world, of the famed 70s WonderTwins Powers Activiate! Power...ACTIVATE. Space Ghost and Laurel and Hardy, both in fall 1966, were among Hanna-Barbera's earlier use of that.
Speaking of the sound effects borrowing from their own flagship parent Columbia, the original 200 or so Three Stooges's famous eye poke ("Boinnngg") which was one of the first in HB, back in 1957. In 1958's "Scooter Looter", a first season Yogi Bear on the first season 1958-1959 Huck Hound show, Yogi Bear keeps riding uncontrollably (the plot summary of the episode) into hole emblazoned tree after another courtesy of the tree branches, to that Three Stooges sound effect. BOINNG!
Finally, from Paramount's original pre Tom Cruise/Dakota Fanning "War of the World", a gaggle of space sounds just right for "Space Ghost" (and Abbott and Costello and others spoofing the genre) to shoot lazer beams. WHen a James Bond type and a character like Secret Squirrell or Atom Ant had to use gunfare as mutual war, one of those would be emnployer by HB sound directors and sound editors, if not by the famous dynamic duo that ran the studio.

LOL! My sentiments EXACTLY, ParamountCartoons! [FINALLY glad to see my sentiments shared with someone else...ever since "Operation: Dumbo Drop" FIRST "dropped" into theatres in the late 1990s.]
Sockpuppet, I've seen that glass slipper ad for next year's Cinderella remake,too. I read that "Downtown Abbey's"Lily Allen will star, and Cate Blanchett's the evil stepmother.

(Started thinking of Scrappy-Doo...yikes!)I thought the same thing about the title....Scooby-Doo would be just as bad (Snooper and Blabber and Secret Squirrell format steal, I say the 70s and 80s generally qualify as the worst age of animation...everyhting had to be drawn super hero life style by then..)
Anyway:
Just about all Walter Lantz and WB cartoons from the 60s
Anything that the WB studio did since the 1990s
All spinoff shows with some exceptions. I'll save those for another thread, about "Acceptable revivals".
The 1980s Gumby series revival due to the re-soundtrack music, due to the legal issues over Capital Records and several other entities over the background music used (it's the same one Capitol's John Seely was credited for, back in 1958, when Gumby was a few years old, for scoring those fall-winter 1958 WB cartoons due to a musicians strike). More than fifty composers were involved with the background music..also the newer music sucked and they also did newer episodes as well, which sucked as well. (All of this in my very humble opinion.

Of course I have mentioned on my replies that I have every post-1964 Looney Tunes cartoon (1964-1969), but they are not the only cartoons I have, I also have 8 Looney Tunes from Golden Collection Vol. 1 that were low pitched and I pitched them back to their original NTSC pitch with recreated titles, every classic Road Runner cartoon (1949-1964), all the Wile E. vs. Bugs Bunny cartoons, Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheepdog cartoons, 1953-1954 Tom & Jerry cartoons with recreated titles (except 2), Cinemascope Tom & Jerry cartoons (including the first 4 in academy ratio) and Chuck Jones Tom & Jerry cartoons.Personally, I saw no reason for any of those 1964-68 Speedy films as
But I don't have every Speedy Gonzales cartoon as video files unfortunately due to a few issues I have:
- I only found 3 online to download (Cat-Tails for Two, Speedy Gonzales and Mexican Cat Dance).
- The rest are non-downloadable on other sites.
- They're not on YouTube due to copyrights from WB.
So if there's anyone who can help me find videos of the 12 classic Speedy cartoons I don't have, please send me a link or download file. I'm begging on wanting to have the rest as video files.

In talks, Sherry Alberoni, June Foray, Paul Frees and some others were in talks in 19760 to do voices..
Now is THIS Warner Bros. trying to adapt to the Josie-Scoobiefied HB times or WHATY? Oh yeah. A laugh track and plenty of Hanna Barbera sound effects.
