Romer Grey's Binko the Bear Cub can finally see the light of day. The cartoon is called 'Arabian Nightmare' and apparently has animation by both Bob and Tom McKimson. I didn't want to see the print in fear of it being turned to dust the moment I open the can. Anybody know a collector that would be interested.

When opening a can to avoid turning the print into dust, wet your fingers and turn the top counter clockwise. When it's about halfway open, turn the can so it's tilted at a 90 degree angle. Look carefully for sparks on the metal as you open; if you go too fast you could ignite the film, so what you can do is have a bag of sand near you to douse the nitrate just in case. I'm glad to hear that Binko the cub survived beyond those stack of drawings!
