Inside Jokes

  • The episode is a parody of the casting of Catwoman in Tim Burton's "Batman Returns". Catwoman was originally gonna be played by Annette Benning, but she had to drop out of the project due to her pregnancy. Sean Young, who originally was originally going to play Vicki Vale in "Batman" (1989), made a very public statement in TV and magazines how she felt she deserved the role. Plucky forcing himself into the role as Batman is a parody of Sean Young's attempts to play Catwoman (Young is even caricatured in the cartoon).

Trivia

  • Originally used as the premiere episode of The Plucky Duck Show, a compilation series composed of Plucky Duck segments from Tiny Toons Adventures. The episode would later be repurposed as a Season 3 Tiny Toons episode.
