Synopsis

Felix's owner is a starving actor who decides to sacrifice his art and go into the movies, but he lacks money. Felix decides to get money by placing gum on the streets so that people will step in it and have to buy new shoes at the shoe store. The shopkeeper gives him plenty of money, which he gives to the actor, who reveals that Felix is staying home. Felix disguises himself as the man's luggage and is taken to Hollywood. Once he arrives, Felix auditions for a movie studio, displaying several emotions and mimicking Charlie Chaplin. When the real Chaplin notices, the cat runs out of the studio. Later, Felix notices a man tied to a pole being attacked by mosquitoes. He fends them off and is congratulated by the director, who gives him a movie deal.
