I feel that this is one of the best of Donald's filmography. Donald is sitting at a large table eating when he gets the urge to go hunting by one of his ancestors. One of the gags I enjoy in this cartoon is the one where a Good Humor ice cream truck drives by, a typical gag used frequently in cartoons of the time. I have never seen the full uncut version of this short(there is a scene of an Indian leading his people over a cliff). Bambi and his mother make a cameo in this cartoon as well.
