This is my all time favorite Chip an' Dale cartoon. I watched this one over and over as a little kid. I loved the whole concept of Donald's mini neighborhood, and understood where they got the idea for this one years later after reading about Walt's miniature train.

This is a rather unusual Chip 'n' Dale vs. Donald Duck cartoon. For one thing, Donald accepts the fact that they are using one of his projects, which in this case is a model town with a railroad in his backyard. Donald lets Chip and Dale stay in one of his model houses and offers them miniature milk bottles. Another unusual thing about this cartoon is that the three of them actually work out a disagreement. Chip and Dale successfully put their tree which they had stored acorns in by hauling it on Donald's model train. They then tell Donald that it's a giant redwood.

This short is cute. I like the part where Chip and Dale go in one of the mini-houses and pretend they own the place. But what really won me over (and this is true for many of the Disney shorts) was the wonderful, wonderful music.

This is my favorite short. I just love it because it made me imagine Chip 'n' Dale's life. I even thought (when I was a child) they were for real. It's a sweet short, the best of the three of them.

I admit that I'm a big Chip and Dale fan (hence the nickname Munker), but I really thought this was an adorable short. The backdrop with the train was very clever, there was charm in the smallest details of the model houses, and the two little scamps got their way without completely destroying Donald's setup. Urban integration at its finest.

I loved this Donald and Chip and Dale cartoon. Donald was really nice to Chip and Dale in this short. He let them stay in one of his model houses. Isn't that nice? My favorite part is when Chip and Dale go into their own model house and relaxing on the couch (Dale) and reading a book (Chip). They were also doing chores like sweeping their sidewalk and setting the table for lunch. Then Donald gives them 2 bottles of milk as a milk man. Then when the chipmunks were going to bed, Donald has some fun by making the weather by using a hose by putting water on the house like rain. Also using a aluminum foil or something by making thunder. And also making snow. Cool! Then Chip asks Dale to go outside and check the weather and Donald uses a lamp to make a hot sun and Dale wonders where the snow went. Last, they take Donald's train and make their tree a Giant Redwood. That's cool! This is a great cartoon. I give it a 960 out of 960.

When I first saw this cartoon as a kid, I wondered why Donald was riding on a miniature train though a mini town. My little sister (who was watching it with me) said "It's probably a playset" and after reading about Walt's train set here, I see she was right! The part where the chipmunks make their home in one of Donald's model houses and Donald gives them milk is just so cute! Donald thought this too because he says "Aw, isn't that cute". Because I am a Donald Duck fan, It is so satisfying for me that Donald and the chipmunks worked things out. Those cartoons where Donald doesn't do anything to them and Chip an' Dale bother him anyway make me mad, but the shorts where they do something to Donald because he bugs them, even I, a huge Donald Duck fan say "too bad Donald, you deserved it"!

This is the best Donald Chip'n'Dale cartoon. The scenes of Chip'n'Dale in the neighborhood make it woth watching. The best part is it ends with an agreement among the three. One of few times that happened.
