-
Oswald takes his sweetie on a canoe ride, then the two drive back to her house. Oswald proposes to her, but a big, bulky dog spots them and takes the girl inside his house. Oswald makes use of a trombone and a duck to serenade his girl and rescue her. The dog pursues the two via stork, and eventually he catches up to Oswald and forces him to dig his own grave. While doing so, he strikes oil, and everybody is happy.
