From Ryan :

In this short, instead of being enemies, Donald and Bootle Beetle are good friends. The short starts out where Donald and Bootle are retired sailors who live by the sea. When Donald goes out to buy a soda for them, Bootle tells of an incident where he and Donald were lost at sea. This is one of the shorts that I enjoy, but even as an adult, I feel a bit sorry for Bootle when Donald plugs his straw up with his hands so that Bootle cannot get any of the water. The same happens when Donald and Bootle are drinking the soda.

From Isidro :

Wow, a "Donald-little animal" cartoon that doesn't end with Donald suffering? Surprisingly, it is, and a really good one! I love the funny gag at the beginning, when Donald does his sailor dance, and breaks his back. Nostalgic atmosphere all the way. This one gets a 10 on my book.

From Baruch Weiss :

An elderly Donald and Bootle Beetle recall their past moments together. I love this cartoon, but it bothers me that the Beetle did not get anything to eat. In contrast, Donald got most of the food. He sure can be rude sometimes.
