Synopsis
-
Brian develops a crush on the Perfects’ daughter, Heather, and wants to impress her, but another boy, Crispin, impresses her far more. Meanwhile, Claire is looking for objects to sell for her store at the school fete, but Eric becomes so preoccupied with Brian that she has to get the objects herself. Claire’s shop turns into a disaster, as the items turn out to be rather questionable. Brian’s time turns out no better, as he is teased by Crispin. Finally, Brian challenges Crispin to bob for apples. Brian stays underwater for a long time, but ends up gathering more apples than Crispin and winning the contest. Eric is relieved that he won’t have to deal with his son having a crush on Heather anymore—until Claire develops a crush on Crispin.
