From Billy Joe :

It's very simple, but well animated. It includes Mickey Mouse leading a parade of classic Disney characters. They are encouraging the viewer about Standard Oil. This short is an easter egg on Mickey Mouse in Living Color Volume 2. It has a black-and-white introduction about Walt Disney following it.

From Bryan Hensley :

This shortie from 1939 has re-used music from the 1932 shortie "Parade of The Award Nominees", but it features a bunch of new stars that many of us are aware of, including myself. It also features Mickey and Minnie leading the way, with their new look. The seven dwarves, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, the Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf, and even Toby Tortoise are in it this time around. (Only Toby's unusually brown.) I'm sure this kind of hype for a comic series 70 years ago is nothing compared to Disney Blu-ray discs today! (Virtually every Disney DVD I've gotten since 2007 has a Disney Blu-ray insert in it, sheesh!) Take it from me, this shortie for a Standard Oil comic series can be more entertaining than a Disney Blu-ray commercial! I hope all of you can enjoy it, too.
