Starting in 2007, Universal released several films from Hollywood's Golden Age on DVD as part of a series called Universal Cinema Classics. It includes films both originally released by Universal Studios and Paramount Pictures (as Universal owns the release rights to many classic Paramount films). One would think that this would be a great opportunity for Universal to exploit its classic cartoon library. Unfortunately, however, only one cartoon has been included as a bonus feature in this series so far. This was 1933's She Done Him Right on, appropriately, the release of the pre-code 1933 film She Done Him Wrong with Mae West and Cary Grant. More may follow.

Surprisingly, the 1930 Lantz short Not So Quiet was not released on the DVD edition of All Quiet on the Western Front in this series.
