Title says it all. Post any (or all) videos you got recently in this thread. Don't have to be animation-related if you don't want to. For the holidays, I asked for, and got: - Cartoon Roots: Halloween Haunts
- Batman: The Brave and the Bold (seasons 1, 3)
- Plastic Man: The Complete Collection
Family also buys almost every new animated movie that comes out in the United States on Blu-Ray so I won't bother listing those. About the only things I didn't get were the Brazilian Luluzinha/ The Little Lulu Show DVDs because none of us know how to operate the only site they're available to buy on. |

"Cars 3",
And before anyone asked why I got it:
A. I wanted it for my birthday.
B. I enjoyed it and I'm 100% sure it's better than the second one, A.K.A. Pixar's "black sheep" ( I haven't seen it, even though I still have a shrink wrapped DVD of it).

- A Hanna Barbera Christmas Triple Feature (two Flintstones and the Smurfs Christmas special.)
- All I Want for Christmas is You (The Mariah Carey special.)
Do we detect a theme here?

Although I feel like I'm bumping a thread from less than a month ago, here's what I got today: - Mickey Mouse in Living Color - Volume Two (surprisingly, the tin and case of my copy of the set are from the Canadian version.....the discs and supplemental content are exactly the same as the U.S. version) - Porky Pig 101 (I didn't get the pressed discs or DVD-Rs; my copy is a DVD+R, yet all the content is the same) - The Simpsons: The Eighteenth SeasonEdited by user Tuesday, December 26, 2017 11:31:52 AM(UTC)

Mom got it off Amazon, so it has to be a DVD-R, 'cause the 25% sale on Wbshop ended.
Funny, the sale went back on after we ordered. I must've done something really stupid to get smote.

I got season 2 of Pokemon (the 2009 copy) and the 2016 Signature Collection Snow White Blu Ray.
I own season 1 of Pokemon on 3 volumes, so now I have seasons 3-5 to get by next year. And it's a good thing I bought the older Pokemon seasons 1 and 2 DVDs since the more recent releases omitted 3 episodes that featured the original black face Jinx, which are fortunately on the previous releases. Seasons 3-5 have all of their episodes included, so no episodes missing thankfully.

Well, I got an Amazon gift card on Saturday, and the following day, I decided to spend it on the following....... *Looney Tunes Golden Collection (second and third volumes; I was eyeing the first volume on both Amazon and eBay, but because it wasn't a Prime item and I didn't receive an eBay gift card, I didn't purchase it) *Rugrats: Season 2 (I had originally wanted to get this for my birthday, but I couldn't find it when it was released "pressed") *Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie (pre-order)

Yesterday, I went out with my mother and aunt to Target. While there, I was searching for a volume of either the Looney Tunes Platinum Collection or the Tom & Jerry Golden Collection to fully take advantage of my new Blu-ray player, but I couldn't find any of these anywhere (not even in the moved-aside clearance section). I did, however, find something to add to my home video collection, but it wasn't related to any of those or was on Blu-ray..........Rocko's Modern Life: The Complete Series.

My copy of Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie came today..... .....and as much as I love the show (I watched this particular movie when it premiered on television), the DVD is a dud. I was at least expecting there to be some bonuses like one of the cast "promised", but there's absolutely nothing else on it except the movie itself (seriously, no footage of the buzz surrounding it in the months prior to its release, no deleted scenes, no anything?). Even the menu is as bare-bones as the disc; the only option on it is to play the movie (yep, I'm not joking). I should've expected a lot better for something that literally every fan of its basis fought to get greenlit, but I'm upset. Even I could come up with a better way to get it put on home video, and this is coming from someone who cares about a lot more Nicktoons than simply just Ren & Stimpy and Rocko's Modern Life. If this is all we can expect to see from Nickelodeon, then what is the point of expecting them to make something like this well worth the wait? I recently got the "Gold Classic Collection" release of A Goofy Movie. Granted, while I don't like that, according to a review I'm reading right now, the movie has been cropped into fullscreen instead of an anamorphic 1.66:1, there is one thing I do appreciate the inclusion of: the "The Goofy Success Story" episode of the Walt Disney anthology (which unfortunately isn't a bonus on The Complete Goofy).
