Those are the Treasures transfers. The Blu-ray versions add a fake fade-in and fade-out at the beginning and end to transition smoothly with the rest of the interactive Hyperion Studio feature, as you can see here .

No other errors were corrected as far as I can tell (like the disappearing cow ear). I should mention the new version is the same as the version that appeared on the Oswald Treasures set.

"Ben and Me" has been released as a "burn on demand" DVD-R under the "Disney Generations" label. Maybe that version is complete.

The Burn on Demand version does not have the "ancestors prologue" the prologue was from a color version from the wonderful world of color, the it's shorter than the one shown couple nights ago. The Walt Disney Mini Classics version was edited together with the "ancestors prologue" from the TV version.

Cheers. Funny that the error removed here is of the type which was deliberately added to the recent 'Get a Horse' short in order to make it more authentic to the era!

The cartoons are remastered

The Three Little Pigs (1933) is the 1940's reissue version where the animation of the wolf wereing the jewish fuller brush man disguise and his voice was reanimated and redubbed in a little less jewish (no black beard. and the colors in that scene is more bold then the rest of the short)

The Plausible Impossible looks good cobbled from color and black and white film stock elements.

The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad great restoration, Although I miss the cue marks that are as of now digitally removed.

The Old mill has the a new Silly Symphony title card then it cut to the title card without a crossdisolve and after the short there is a new end card

Lonesome Ghosts I think is the same remastered verison from 2010

I do have it on Blu Ray along with Fun and Fancy Free. There's one score that can be heard at the end of Wind in the Willows after Mr. Toad crashed by Toad Hall, but for some odd reason, the 1999 VHS tape which I also had since I was a kid isn't heard at all.

Interesting, they did that with Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs as well. the scene after the animals lead Snow White to the Cottage.

so maybe the extra music may had to do with the master soundtrack elements

But I was talking about the film stock reeler change cue marks (cigarette burns) in the top right corner of the frame at the end of 20 or 15 minutes of film 4 frames before the next couple of frames. reeler change cue marks are signals for the projectionist to change the film reel to the next

and here is my memory of a VHS I had of The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (Gold Classic Collection) there was a fade to and from black inbetween Wind and the Willows and Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

That's weird, but at least the 1999 Masterpiece Collection VHS doesn't have the fade to and from black inbetween the 2 segments.

"So Dear to My Heart" was a nice little film. Really enjoyed Burl Ives's performance, as well as the animated sequences.

Regarding the transfers of the shorts:
-"The Grasshopper and the Ants" was a newer, brighter transfer, with older (recreated?) titles to boot. I believe there were still traces of dirt.
-"Rescue Dog" and "Corn Chips" definitely had recreated titles, as evidenced by the incorrectly-worded Technicolor notices for their time period ("Rescue Dog", a 1947 release, has a "Color by Technicolor" notice, while "Corn Chips" has an "In Technicolor" byline). The latter seems to be the transfer on the "Mickey's Christmas Carol" Blu-ray.

TCM's copy of 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea: I have a feeling this is almost like the artifacted iTunes copy with film grain scrubbed out, but it could be my TV's output or my U-Verse DVR compressing the video feed.

Looks fine to me, though the red of the curtains in the titles look kind of washed out.

Anyone else noticed the TCM boo-boo during the opening titles of "Secrets of Life"?
