Remind me again, which Looney Tunes short did the traditional Irish melody "The Kerry Dance"  play in? I know I've heard it in a short but I can't remember which one.

I'm not sure, but is the tune below the one you mean? Maybe another member here will recognise it...

Here's another piece, called "The King's Horses": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YhmA0eXzvc  . I swear it played in a Looney Tunes short but I can't remember which one. Anyone know?

I don't recall it playing in a WB cartoon, but probably its most notable usage is under the opening titles for the Oscar-winning Laurel and Hardy short The Music Box (1932).

Okay, I was wrong about "The King's Horses" playing in a WB cartoon, but I was right that I had heard "Horses" (by Richard A. Whiting) before: It played in the Tom & Jerry shorts "The Cat and the Mermouse" and "Fine Feathered Friend".

Here's another: Did "Polonaise in A flat Major, Op. 53" by Frederic Chopin play in any classic cartoons? I coulda swore it did, but I'm drawing a blank on specifics.

Chopin's Heroic Polonaise does appear in at least one Walter Lantz cartoon, including a 1946 Musical Miniature entry starring Andy Panda and Woody Woodpecker: Musical Moments from Chopin.
