Disney's 'The Jungle Book' has to be one of the most beautifully produced films I've ever seen. The backgrounds and color design is just beautiful. Here are some stills from an original release print of the film, in IB Technicolor.

Yeah, I found it to be a fitting animated farewell to a master animation producer / pioneer.

Yes, I did and do,too. And agree with the 1973 book THE ART OF WALT DISNEY (Christopher Finch, revised several times since) that it's a filmn that he would've been proud of..
