Today, I was at the Columbus Moving Picture Show held at the Renaissance Hotel in Columbus, Ohio watching their Annual Animation Program. I should mentioned that while Jerry was around and was at the opening of this year's show (and the Wednesday preview show I attended at The Wexner Center of the Arts where he presented 3-D prints of "Hypnotic Hick" and "Boo Moon" with a showing of "Bwana Devil"), he was not at today's show as he was attending the opening of Nancy Fest at The Billy Ireland Cartoon Library. However, I did get to see Thad and Steve (who had a restoration lecture yesterday) and got Blu-Rays of the recent Thunderbean releases. As for the show itself, it was great although they had projection problems with screening "Swim or Sink" which had a few false starts. The show was also slightly longer than usual due to the presence of a Disney featurette. Anyway, here what was shown today:

The Booze Hangs High (Warners, 1930)

Swim or Sink (S.O.S.) (Fleischer, 1932)

Ain't She Sweet (Fleischer, 1933)

Three Lazy Mice (Lantz, 1935)

Goofy Groceries (Warners, 1941)

Plenty Below Zero (Columbia, 1943)

Krakatoa (Terrytoons, 1945)

A Scout with the Gout (Famous/Paramount, 1947)

Hotsy Footsy (UPA, 1952)

A Symposium on Popular Songs (Disney, 1962)

Overall, a great show and look forward for next year's event which will be in a new location at Crowne Plaza North.
