That project will get everything scanned to 4K (that's in 35mm), but will they restore it? Probably, but then after that, will we all of them restored? Time will tell...
Interesting note from yesterday's Sunday Night airing of Ain't that Ducky. Unlike the last airing a few months back, it aired uncensored. This is not the interesting part, the real interesting is that before it they put up this disclaimer, the usual thing ahead of the DVDs. Interesting to see this on broadcast

That I actually heard on a YouTube community post yesterday! Sorry that I kept silent about it on this forum.
Anyways, if this is how they will continue with their airings from now on, who knows what we will get later on down the MeTV lineup? The Mammy Two Shoes T&J shorts? The overdue (yet already completed) restoration of "Fresh Hare"? All with disclaimers? Who knows?
But, the ONLY con about this is, that
if they want to continue this way, then they will have to go back and air the cartoons they ran edited, unedited for their reruns if they want to add disclaimers from now (e.g. "Bad Luck Blackie", "The Car of Tomorrow", and those
Popeye,
Tom and Jerry, and
Looney Tunes shorts; also, I am NOT obsessed with racial imagery, I am pointing out what may or may not be the future of MeTV airing these cartoons). However, only time will tell now, that if this is only exclusive to MeTV+, then we might only get to see unedited cartoons on there and not the main MeTV channel, but who knows (TBH, this is kind of ironic in my opinion, since MeTV+ already ran edited versions of "Believe It or Else", "Porky's Prize Pony", and "Doggone Cats", all three of which will now have to be rerun on the channel with a disclaimer now, making the edits now pointless in my opinion).
Anyways, this is just my opinion! You all can comment on what you think about this new feature (if I should say that)!
