I would appreciate any suggestions or help identifying a cartoon starring a young boy, living in what appeared to be a possibly haunted house which was off by itself, surrounded by a picket or iron fence. The boy was the straight character while his parents were either ghoulish or mad scientist types. I apologize for not having many details, but a friend brought this up and together we couldn't identify even if it was a series or a one-off. He suggested Warner Bros, while I think of it a more a Jay Ward or even UPA type. Any and all clues would be appreciated.
