Hello there. I am wondering if Warner Bros 1935 Flowers for Madame was the first cartoon to use the rings, or the last to use the jester. Some claim it was the first for the rings, however others claim the opposite. The short was Blue Ribboned, which makes this worse. And plus, the ending music is cut, replaced with generic Merrie Melodies end music. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I believe it was the first to use the rings. You're right that the score does cut off at the end title on modern prints, plus it was the first WB short in 3-strip Technicolor.
