This preliminary rough sketch of a scene from a Farmer Al Falfa cartoon was sold on eBay, years back, from the property of Frank Moser:


Which Fable or Terry-Toon could it be? It is not in any Terry-Toon that survives within the Barker Bill circulation, but it is definitely Moser. His depiction of Farmer Al Falfa drawn here looks more remiscient of his later drawings of the character from the later 20's, with a pointy beard, no hat and a short head; it could be in that era.
