It looks as if the transition went pretty well. The Database itself is still transitioning over. (It threw an error while I was asleep last night, so I had to restart it this morning.) But all in all, I think it's going pretty well.

There are bound to be things that we missed, so we'll still be tightening screws here and there, so if you do see anything amiss, please let me know.

I will eventually. That's on the to-do list, but I wanted to make sure everything was working okay here first.

It seems that some people have had problems retrieving or resetting their passwords. I think I solved that problem ... if anyone else still has a problem, please email me at euty@mfoxweb.com.

A longtime member, I am just now getting back to the IAD forums, since it was
announced that IAD was changing to TOONSCOOP. What ever became of that?

Have encountered a number of "this website is no longer available" pages and such.
(Using FIREFOX.)

Just kept trying both website links and finally this one to IAD became alive again.
I actually did not even have to re-join! Glad to see it back. I've missed it.

I don't blame you for the confusion. This is the most inelegant forum I've ever seen. So many bizarre icons and arrows. I must continuously scroll over each to be reminded of what it means. It's a devolution for sure.

TOONSCOOP was just a temporary domain we were using while we tested out the new forum. I would have kept it but it was too close to Jerry Beck's Animation Scoop to be comfortable. On the other hand I've always though intanibase was fairly klunky as weel. I'm open to suggestions as to what we might change it to.

Yeah, I realize it's not as elegant as the old forum. The trade off is that we don't have the same security problems as we had there. I had a limited number of options available since it had to be written in ASP.NET, so I understand it will take some getting used to.

I should have added that I'm happy this forum still exists (even though I'm more of a lurker). It's better than seeing it disappear.
