Since we seem to have had an influx of new members lately (and knowledgeable ones at that!) I thought I should offer the chance for any of our newbies to apply to become researchers.

When we started this site, one of the things we were trying to avoid was to fall into the IMDb/Wikipedia trap of just letting anybody update the database. In my opinion, that has led to a lot of misinformation being posted at both of those sites, among others. So, we've only allowed members who we've vetted as being knowledgeable in the field of animation to become researchers and edit the database entries. So far, it's worked pretty well for us.

Of course, you're under no obligation as a researcher. It's purely a voluntary position and you give what time you can when you can. But it can also be a an awful lot of fun!
