Just wondering... I'd been visiting the old GAC forums regularly until 2011. Since then I barely visited any animation related sites or forums. In fact, I'm not focusing on animated cartoons for about 6 years, but still wondering where is the old cast who helped the community with some valuable infos and such. I haven't seen most of them around here.

Like Thad Komorowski, David Gerstein, Sogturtle, Andrea Ippoliti, Matthew Hunter, JJ Hunsecker, Marty 26, Fibber Fox, Speedy Boris, Daffysleftfoot, Matt the Y, Jon Cooke and others. The only members of the old cast here are speedy fast and Nickramer.

I'm part of the old guard as well, though I'm mainly a lurker now. Yes, Sogturtle's posts were incredibly informative. I miss them as well as the insightful comments from JLee, who thankfully is still posting on Cartoon Research and elsewhere.

That's why I thought it was so important that the TTTE archives be saved and I really respect eutychus for making the effort to do so.

Most of the old guards are now posting on the GAC Facebook page.

While I am active here again, there was a year or two when I didn't. Not out of choice, but because every time I tried to visit the old IAD Forum, there'd be an error screen. Recently, I came here, saw the new site, thought it just changed its looked, and wondered why I kept getting errors when logging in. It took a while before I realized that this is a new site, though I also found how to get into the old site (and oddly enough, although the old site is closed, I found I could still log in there).

I found that I had to register for this new site. While I signed up with the name I always used on GAC and the old IAD, it's possible others registered new user names.
