I just came back from Cinevent in Columbus. This year, it was in a hotel in Downtown Columbus as the hotel that housed the event for many years surprisingly closed last year. This year was also a tribute to one of the founder's of the event Steven E. Haynes who passed away last month. Despite this, the event still went on and Annual Saturday Animation Program still went on and here's the line-up:
"Any Little Girl That's a Nice Little Girl" (Fleishers, 1931(UMV print))
"Shiver Me Timbers!" (Fleishers, 1934 (AAP print))- [popeye] [olivesmiliehere] [wimpysmiliehere]
"The Case of the Stuttering Pig" (Warners, 1937( Sunset Production print))- [porky]
"The Fox and the Grapes" (Columbia, 1941 (Reissue print))- 🦊 [crow]
"Window Cleaners" (Disney, 1940 (Buena Vista reissue))- [donald] [plutosmiliehere]
"Donald's Dilemma" (Disney, 1947)- [donald] [daisysmiliehere]
"Tee for Two" (MGM, 1945 (Reissue))- [tom] [jerry]
"Lonesome Lenny" (MGM, 1946(reissue))- [screwysmiliehere]
"Riff Raffy Daffy" (Warners, 1948)- [daffy] [porky]
"Gonzales' Tamales" (Warners, 1957)- [speedy] [sylvestr]
Overall, a good show and I saw Thad there. Just disappointed I didn't see Steve and didn't get any Thunderbean DVDs/Blu-Rays.
