When this was mentioned earlier it was mentioned (on TTTP pre-2004) that DePatie-Freleng parent UA-Mirisch was to release it despite the fact that we all know that Columbia was to.

So no wonder that people so often thought that WB closed the studio in 1962 than 1963.

I had read the above quoted many times.

The Mirisch deal was mentioned here , too.

Freleng had also left WB by the end of 1962.
