Hey gang,

Here's a really old post of mine that contained a few links from the old TTTP from the ToonZone days. At the time (2011), this section was still accessible and did not redirect back to GAC. Unfortunately, now it does do that, but the threads live on! If you find any more TTTP threads while searching Google, ToonZone, or wherever, please share here!

a.a.p. stuff

Looney Tunes Fan, if you want to find more links, just type this in Google:
site:http://www.toonzone.net/forums/termite-terrace-trading-post/

There's a total of 42 pages of material! Perhaps we should sort them out by a common theme for easy reference (like "Tom and Jerry threads").

Thank you guys for your additions!

EDIT: Oh, I see what happened. Had two http:// on the link by accident. All fixed now. 🙂

Baby Buzzard  (a "What cartoon was this?" question; the answer is, as is stated in the thread, probably "The Bashful Buzzard")

The Lonesome Stranger  (about Friz Freleng's career at MGM)
Hilarious Artwork!  (too bad that said artwork has disappeared)

Looking for Possible Possum  (from what I've found, both Possible Possum and Muskie (Musky?) the Muskrat said "it's possibool, it's possibool")
Beaky Buzzard Cartoons
"Oh, is that you, Mert?"  (this asks where the phrase in question comes from: to cut to the chase, it came from the NBC radio comedy "Fibber McGee And Molly")
Searching for "Sweetie Puss"  (ooh, more "Fibber McGee" references in classic cartoons! and indeed, seems like [droopy] was based off of Bill Thompson's character in the show)
Favorite Cartoon Flattening?
Roger Rabbit Cameos  ([speedy] was in the final scene!? and [marvin] was next to Snow White in said scene!?)
Mickey and the Beanstalk song

Looney Tunes RPG  (what the heck? oh, and the link to the game is completely blank now)

Lookin' to swap  (back when the Termite Terrace Trading Post really was a trading post!)
Speedy lives!  (a disturbing-sounding [speedy] "motion plush" from an about-to-be-closed WB Studio Store)
Voice in "Pecos Pest"  (another interesting discussion on the relationship between radio/TV and cartoons, this one relating to voice actors)
My Want List  (another reminder of how the TTTP was a trading post)
"Pantry Panic" Image?  (Thad Komorowski* asked for images from the gruesome ending of "Pantry Panic"; after yet another trade offer, Mr. Komorowski found a PD video with the cartoon, and actually found it rather cruel!)
Wolf Pacifier... or something.  (the scene from "The Mouse Comes To Dinner" [tom] [jerry])
Tom and Jerry Slamfest  (12-hour Memorial Day [tom] and [jerry] marathon from 2001, on Cartoon Network)
The Popeye Show cancelled?  (apparently a big programming screw-up in which the informative bridging segments were missing and the shorts themselves were sub-par prints)
Censored Disney Cartoons  (even in 2001, people were already complaining about how Disney cares more about money than their films)
Mr. Magoo on THE SIMPSONS  (the [magoo] parody that appeared on "'Tis the Fifteenth Season")
Droopy's Good Deed  (somebody looking for an uncensored print of the cartoon)
Is Pussyfoot a boy or a girl?
Scrap Happy Daffy  (the print quality of the cartoon on a CN airing)
Chip'n'Dale/Goofy Gophers

*I originally expressed hopes that he would register here soon. I've just found out that, sure enough, he registered less than two hours after this post was originally made!

Pre-empted cartoons  (a pre-empted Acme Hour that was a missed opportunity)
Guess who's back!!  (somebody who returned and asked questions about Rochester's Emporium and June Bugs)
WB Sound Effect  (the trombone gobble)
Favorite Yogi Bear Episode  (the winner is...not one of the cartoons listed)
Mickey, Goofy DVD contents  (note David Gerstein warning the users not to discuss Steamboat Willie)
He Can't Make It Stick!  (looking for a copy of this Columbia cartoon; looking at the list of lost/incomplete Columbia cartoons, it's astonishing to see what progress has been made since then, as color copies of Kitty Caddy  and Cockatoos for Two  have been found)
Fox And Crow Avatar Week  🦊 [crow]
Most Racist Cartoon EVER!!!!  (the winner: a tie between Van "Bueren"'s "Pickaninny Blues" and Lantz/Universal's "Scrub Me Mama with a Boogie Beat")

Greatest silent cartoon character  (the near-unanimous winner: [felix])
"Flip the Frog" avtar weekend  (put a [sic] next to "avtar" [flip])
Looney Tunes Vs. MGM  (perhaps the saddest part of this thread is the guy who thought [pink] was an MGM character)
Who owns these cartoons?
Norman Normal! a animation series?  (What. the. FREAK? By the way, the links still work.)
The Best Arthur Davis Cartoons
Question about Bugs' Nephew  (three nephews? that is, Clyde, Buster (from Tiny Toons), and maybe the little brown rabbit from "Rabbit's Kin"...never mind)

New DVD  (the "Somewhere in Dreamland" DVD with Max Fleischer's Color Classics)
Logging in Problems?  (more technical difficulties, from almost the same time period, too!)
Want Terrytoons and 60s Paramounts?  (Nicktoons had just hired its first General Manager, and Jerry Beck was encouraging everybody to write to him in order to get Terrytoons and 60s Paramounts back on the air...oh, if only things had worked out!)
June Bugs edits?  (edited cartoons during June Bugs 2001)
Introducing someone to cartoons  (if there was someone who had never seen a cartoon in his life and you were the one to introduce the person to classic cartoons, what would you choose?)
Beetle Bailey and Sad Sack  (let me be honest...I don't know what's being talked about here! though apparently Beetle was in "Popeye and the Man who Hated Laughter")
Foghorn Leghorn banned on CN?  ([foghorn]: I'm not—I say, I'm not banned! Just rare, is all.)
Butch/Meathead from "Tom and Jerry"  (confusion regarding the name of that black cat)
Cartoons in Twilight Zone Movie  (interesting!)
HEY! DAFFY/PORKY MEETS GROOVY GOOLIES Isn't ALL THAT bad!  (the less said about this, the better)
Porky Pig and Daffy Duck Meet the Groovie Goolies  (this is actually a good thread, and J Lee (among other things) delivers some nice information about a horrible TV Guide interview with Lou Scheimer)
Violent Cartoons From The Major Studios  (guess who won? Paramount.)

Chow Hound  (some people find this cartoon too disturbing for their tastes)
old popeye cartoons  (this is basically: "How many [popeye]s were made? Where can copies be found?")
uncensored Tex Avery  (someone who wanted uncensored copies of "Droopy's Good Deed" and "Garden Gopher")
Columbia House: Musical Masterpieces  (overbidding on eBay...Sogturtle has a hilarious tale about how someone sold him a new copy for only $12 plus shipping)
Favorite Cartoon with Limited Animation  (I have to disagree with Der Captain on "Rooty  Toot Toot " being limited animation; the film didn't even reuse the animation of Johnny looking through the door and getting shot when it could have easily done so!)
Funniest expression on a cartoon's face  (to word it better, "The funniest cartoon expression"; and since Pierce wanted a picture, here  it is)
What does Bugs say?  (the inaudible dialogue in "Rhapsody Rabbit" (I think that's swearing) and "The Big Snooze" (I actually didn't notice that particular case...maybe I should watch it again))
Gene Deitch's Tom and Jerry  (Glenn looking for these strange cartoons; quite a few mentions of a Japanese laserdisc that had all the cartoons; Sogturtle considers the 1975 H-B revival of Tom and Jerry to be the all-time worst ("100 times WORSE than Gene Deitch at his worst"))
For He's a Jolly Good Fala  (the infamously lost cartoon; it was aborted after FDR's death; the thread starts talking about Snafu cartoons, not to mention Seaman Tarfu)
Blue Cat Blues comments  (commentary on this unique cartoon)
A banned episode of... Tennessee Tuxedo!?  (back when Boomerang was showing the syndicated "Tennessee Tuxedo and His Tales"; apparently they just skipped over an episode)
I'm mad at Billy West!  (anger about how West called Mel Blanc a "freak" on the Space Jam DVD commentary; on Thad's advice, the title of this thread was changed, though the original title can still be seen in the post itself; interesting anecdote by J. J. Hunsecker about how he got banned from West's website, most likely because West thought he was *gasp* Steve Worth)
Barney Bear's Victory Garden  (the scene where [barney] made a Hitler face on his garden was edited out, making it look like the U.S. Air Force bombed his garden for no reason)

Worst WB cartoon  (it's too bad that Steve Carras  doesn't like Duck Amuck or What's Opera, Doc?, and isn't particularly fond of One Froggy Evening; but frankly, what are these three cartoons doing in a thread about the WORST WB cartoons to begin with? I can't help but be reminded of what was said here , years after the fact)
Bugs and Daffy, Acme Hour 6/20/01

Found this  very recent thread on Toonzone mocking the old TTTP for frustration over how Cartoon Network was beginning to run modern programming more often. The threads the original poster brought up:

CN and their modern stuff  (poll on what Cartoon Network should do with their modern shows; loved Sogturtle's comments...but why wasn't it in blue text like usual?)
Cartoon Network really does SUCK!!!!  (the [popeye] Show removed in favor of more Ed, Edd n' Eddy)
Poll: Cartoon Network  ("Do you think Cartoon Network is the "BEST" place for cartoons?")
Jim Samples Strikes Again  (the Looney Tunes "Shocktober" nights pulled in favor of Billy & Mandy and Courage the Cowardly Dog)
