that as well as all the latest animation news in feature films, print media, television, and of course,
home video. On tap this time will be a review of the new "Alvin Show" DVD release, plus thoughts on
the upcoming Gene Deitch Tom and Jerry box set, and the latest classic animation from Steve
Stanchfield's Thunderbean, which includes a new Van Beuren set and "Cartoon Roots" from Tom
Stathes...also hopefully a few surprises, because after all, Jerry IS "the king of all things cartoons!

Which speaking of Shout!, the Magoo Theatrical set didn't give Shout! the business. Regardless, I think it was a fine set.

Incidentally, Fantastic Mr. Fox is the first animated film Criterion released on Blu-ray and DVD.
