2015 is the special anniversary year of Mickey Mouse!
Here are Mickey’s great milestones:

"The Band Concert" (1935) [80th Anniversary] :
Mickey’s first color (technicolor) cartoon.
(Note: "Parade of the Award Nominees" (1932) is Mickey's first color (technicolor) film.)

"Fantasia" (1940) [75th Anniversary] :
Segment: "The Sorcerer’s Apprentice", by Paul Dukas, 1897:
Mickey Mouse, the Sorcerer’s apprentice, magically turns
the broom into a living water-carrying broom. But Mickey’s spell
had accidentally caused a flood!

"The Mickey Mouse Club (1955)" (1955) [60th Anniversary] :
The children’s variety tv show, created by Walt Disney & Mickey Mouse.
(Note: The 2 "new" versions of "The Mickey Mouse Club (1955)"
are from 1977 & 1989.)

"The Prince & the Pauper" (1990) [25th Anniversary] :
The animated featurette starring 2 Mickeys!
Based on the book "The Prince & the Pauper", by Mark Twain.

"Runaway Brain" (1995) [20th Anniversary] :
Dr. Frankenollie switches the brains of
Mickey Mouse & Julius the Monster.

"Epic Mickey" (2010) [5th Anniversary] :
Disney’s action-adventure video game.
The evil Shadow Blot has taken Mickey Mouse to Wasteland, the world of forgotten Disney characters.
& then Mickey meets Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, who has a grudge against Mickey
because Oswald feels that he was replaced by Mickey. But Mickey has to work together with Oswald
to save Wasteland from the Shadow Blot, the Mad Doctor, & the more-eviler villain.

Mickey Mouse, you rock!

2015 is also Pluto the Dog’s 85th birthday!
(Pluto the Dog's 1st debut is in the Mickey Mouse cartoon "The Chain Gang", 9/5/1930.)
Happy 85th Birthday, Pluto the Dog!

2015 is the anniversary of Mickey Mouse's great milestones
from the years that ends with the zeroes & the fives.

Mickey Mouse's 1st debut cartoons "Plane Crazy" & "Steamboat Willie"
are both from 1928, & 2018 is Mickey Mouse's 90th Birthday.

I will say that the list is pretty neat. It sorta nice to list anniversary of certain character milestones.
