Ordered!
Since I live in Europe, I hope it could get here before New Year's Eve.[-o< (still haven't received the 35mm feature)
Thank you very much again for this set!!

I wanted to repeat a question i made in another thread:

Are there 18 Special discs now in total?

I had received a list of the special discs in another Thunderbean order and it goes up to Disc 14 All Sorts of Cartoon Shorts.

Since I'd like to collect all, there is:
- We're on our Way to IB Technicolor (Disc 15),
- Thunderbean Thurdsay(Disc 16)
- 35mm animated feature (Disc 17)
- Yultide Flickers (Disc 18)??

The debate is whether to offer it as a BDR/DVDR combo, unrestored, next week. We'd sell only 100 or so all together, and have them in hand before the offer starts. Thoughts?

I believe that is correct. There was also a special "Stocking Stuffer" disc way back in 2005 that apparently included a candy cane.

In addition to the "special" discs, there have also been many bonus discs that were included in pre-orders of the various official sets over the years. I don't know if this is a complete list, but these are the ones that I know about:

Cartoon Fantastic's corner (included with Stocking Stuffer, 2005)
Forum Only (included with Cultoons 2 & The Little King, 2007)
Live Action Commercials disc (included with Cartoon Commericals, 2007)
Things We'll Never Release (included with Cultoons 3, 2008)
It Fell Off The Shelf So I Transferred It (included with Rainbow Parades, 2009)
Buried Treasures (not safe for kids, included with Aesop's Fables Volume 2, 2009)
You Don't Have This One (included with Tom and Jerry, 2009)
Things I Made A Transfer Of Before They Left (included with Makin' 'Em Move, 2010)
Put this With The Other Bonus (included with Stop Motion Marvels, 2010)
Sneak Preview Set (included with More Cartoons For Victory, 2013)
Special Advance DVD (included with Technicolor Dreams and Black and White Nightmares, 2013)
Sneak Preview Disc (included with Mid Century Modern Animation Volume 2, 2014)
Rare Oswald Cartoons (included with Lantz Studio Treasures Starring Oswald, 2014)
Bonus Disc (included with Classics From The Van Beuren Studio, 2015)
Rare WW2 Cartoons (included with Private Snafu, 2015)

I believe the previous list of previous "Special" discs should be:

Disc 0: Stocking Stuffer
Disc 1: Rare Cartoons
Disc 2: GAC In Exile
Disc 3: Before The Chains Are On The Door
Disc 4: Toon O Rama
Disc 5: ??? (does anybody know what this is?)
Disc 6: Super Secret Disc
Disc 7: While The Telecine Is Still Here
Disc 8: The Telecine Has Landed
Disc 9: Cats Dogs And Sailors
Disc 10: ??? (does anybody know what this is?)
Disc 11: Collector's Choice
Disc 12: Toon Time 2014
Disc 13: Tons Of Toons

Hmm. Just looked through my collection, but found less than I expected.

I know I don't own the Stocking stuffer discs and the Live Action Commercials disc, but I can't find Things We'll Never Release, It Fell Off The Shelf So I Transferred It, You Don't Have This One and Things I Made A Transfer Of Before They Left either. Maybe I have misplaced them since I do recognize the titles and own the pre-release versions of the DVDs they were included with.

I did find a few not mentioned though:

- The official Unofficial Bonus Disc 09
- Why are these not (all) on DVD yet (included with Mid Century Modern Animation Volume 1)
- Uncensored Animation vol 2 bonus disc
- The Private SNAFU Sneak Preview set
- Noveltoons Sneak Preview set
- Bonus disc March 2010 (EDIT: Is this the Things I Made A Transfer Of Before They Left disc? )

Just remembered another special disc and it would make sense that that disc is one of the unavailable ones. There was a 2 disc set of Gulliver's Travels with the movie in DVD format on one disc and as a mp4 file on the other.

I would guess that's probably disc #10, but Steve would need to confirm it.

Looking around on the old IAD forums, disc 10 was actually:
35mm Ib Technicolor Noveltoons -HD Mpeg-4 files only.

I got my copy in the mail today. Another fantastic job, Steve. I've been skimming the disc and haven't watched it entirely, but there's so much content and variety .

I think it's a cool set, but really rushed to get the copies all out to everyone! This weekend was crazy trying to author and dub 112 of them.. didn't get everything in, and because there's so much I had to have more compression on the DVD than I'd like.. but survivable. Funny, once you see a blu-ray version of something, the dvd just never looks as good. This is really my friends Chris Buchman and Rex Schneider's production, with me doing the technical and getting a lot of cartoons I wanted to put on the set on...

Hope everyone likes them! All are on their way!

As cool as all the shorts are, the thing I'm loving the most right now are the theatrical holiday trailers. They're amazing! Especially the live action 70s and British mod 60s trailers. Those are going into the movie night pile for sure.

Strangely enough, I ended up having most of these shorts already, in various dvd comps, but as you said, they never looked this good. HD gives me this sense of relief that the hand drawn details created by these artists, most of them gone now, won't be lost to time.

Big kudos to Chris and Rex and everyone who worked on the menus and prologue. All the art and background music really adds to the experience. So glad I jumped on this one!

Just received a BIG package from you, Steve, Yuletide Flickers included, just in time for New Year's Eve. Can't wait to give these a spin, many thanks. I seemed to have got a duplicate Snafu by mistake tho (with all the pre-order goodies), I already received my copy two weeks ago.
