I have lost track of all the special sets and I'd like to get them all.
Is this the Thunderbean Thursday set?

Are the special sets 17 in total?
I had made a question here:

I have nothing to say about these screenshots that hasn't already been said (they really are beautiful and gorgeous, not to mention superior to Disney's own most recent release of the film), so I'm just going to add that I wish Disney would subcontract their restoration work out to you, Mr. Stanchfield! Then we'll actually see all their best features as they were supposed to seen.

Why exactly (if you don't mind me asking) ?

Why I'd like it, or why I haven't found one yet? The easy answer is that it's rare...and I don't blame folks for not wanting a 1940s or 50s print out of their hands for a minute. Had hoped to when I was in LA....but too late now.

Why you haven't found it yet. Sorry, I should have been more precise. Will you keep looking after this ? I'm sure revisiting this later won't be a problem and the most interested peoble who got the first run won't mind an "update" later (especially if you keep the tranfer's raw data).

I'm saying this from the very beginning I watched Gulliver's Travels Bluray!!
How wonderful that would be!
I keep hoping that someone will come in Disney that has some sense and respect towards animation, but in the end I don't think so..

Probably a stupid question, but... there's no way to purchase this particular "special set" late, right? This makes me wish I had paid closer attention to the Thunderbean forum section back when the set was first teased (though I will say, had the first post in the announcement thread stated exactly which feature it was, I likely would have jumped on right away).

Maybe sometime soon- I'm not doing any special request stuff right now- really need to catch up on all the other stuff, especially things dropped along the way... so if I can at some point I may offer all of those for people that missed them, and when I have stock ahead of time of them as well..

Thanks!

Actually, IB printing did continue in the UK for a couple more years. British prints of Star Wars were in IB - and at least one film nut I know says those IB prints did indeed have quality control issues (e.g., green shifting, which was supposedly a problem with other IB stuff of the time too?)

Thanks for replying - that would be lovely! 🙂 Another set I'd personally love to buy is the one you did ages ago featuring (among much else) the Tom and Jerry cartoon "Texas Tom" in full HD with the original title cards.

Yes, I agree.
Of all the special sets in all the world for me to miss; I miss this one.
Well, never again; I took the time to set preferences to be alerted when anything happens on this forum.
