I caught a re-run of this some days ago. I don't pretend to like most of the more modern material that was included mingled with classic animation, but I'm not going to gripe about it here. I caught the segments about Mickey and Bugs near the end. Both characters were represented almost exclusively by their ugly off-model modern reinterpretations (The Looney Tunes Show and whatever those ugly new Mickey Mouse shorts are referred to as). The only hint of classic animation I saw was about 5 seconds of Steamboat Willie, which looked like a low-quality Youtube video from about 2005. Both characters came in near the top in their artificial ranking, but behind their number one pick Stewie Griffin. I guess there's something to be said for animation being paid any attention on prime time network television, but overall color me unimpressed. I understand why classic animation (had there been any) has to be conflated with garbage like Family Guy, given modern audiences, but I don't have to like it.
