Wow, never knew there was a lost package Disney film that features the same short segments from the 2 existing package films from the mid and late 40's we know of today. Although I wish Disney would already re-release those 2 films on DVD and Blu Ray uncut and unedited as part of the Disney Movie Club collection.

As a Disney fan, I never heard of this film until I stumbled across its entry on the Lost Media Wiki. I can see why Disney doesn't want people to know about it because it was only created to fufill the contractual obligations with RKO. (Disney was releasing films under their own Buena Vista Distribution label at the time.) Also, I find it odd that even though The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, another package film with little new animation is part of the animated Disney film canon, Music Land is not.

It's great somebody found a print of the film. I wonder if Disney owns a copy of it.

Korkis mentioned this in one of his old "Mouse Planet" articles. It's also mentioned in "Disney A to Z", but it's not included in their list of released films.
