The characters are off model, the animation is quirky in an unsettling sort of way, and the sounds effects (mostly vocalizations I believe) are nightmare-inducing. These were animated and produced in Eastern Europe somewhere on the cheap by people who knew nothing about the characters or the original cartoons. They have their place I guess, but they are hardly anyone's favorites.
